A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A GRANT OFFER FROM THE UNITED STATES OF
AMERICA ACTING THROUGH THE FEDERAL AVIATION AGENCY FOR IMPROVEMENTS
AT BARKLEY FIELD, UNDER PROJECT NO. 8-21-0043-01 IN THE AMOUNT OF
$118,929.00 AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE THE
GRANT AGREEMENT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the grant
offer dated April 11, 1972, for improvements at Barkley Field under
Project No. 8-21-0043-01 and Contract No. DOT -FA -72 -SO -6988 from the
United States of America acting through the Federal Aviation Agency,
in the amount of $118,929.00, a copy of which Grant Agreement, including
the offer and acceptance, is attached hereto and incorporated herein
by reference.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they are hereby,
authorized to execute the Grant Agreement on behalf of the City of
Paducah, Kentucky.
SECTION 3. That all representations and assurances contained in
the project application dated March 7, 1972, of which the City of
Paducah was a co-sponsor with the County of McCracken and the Paducah
Airport Corporation be, and the same are hereby, adopted and ratified.
SECTION 4. This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
