HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 17, Page 985, Ordinance Number 72-4-632985 ORDINANCE NO. 72-4-632 AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE AMOUNT TO BE CHARGED PROPERTY OWNERS FOR CONNECTION TO THE CITY SANITARY SEWER CONSTRUCTED IN AND NEAR THE MAPLEWOOD TERRACE ADDITION TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, has completed construction of sanitary sewers in the Maplewood Terrace Addition to the City of Paducah, and WHEREAS, the City Engineer has determined that a reasonable pro rata share of the expense of construction of said sewers is $600.00 per unit to be connected to the sanitary sewer facility, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a charge of $600.00 is hereby established to be charged to property owners connecting to the city's sanitary sewer constructed in and near the Maplewood Terrace Addition to the City of Paducah, which amount of $600.00 shall be paid to the City Treasurer. SECTION 2. No connection to said sanitary sewer system shall be made by any property owner or other person, firm or corporation except under permit for such connection issued in compliance with the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, and all provisions of said Code pertaining to mandatory tap -ons and penalties for various violations shall apply hereto. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
