HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 17, Page 959, Ordinance Number 72-4-624959 ORDINANCE NO. 72-4-624 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF KAY UNIFORMS FOR FURNISHING THE CITY OF PADUCAH POLICE DEPARTMENT UNIFORMS FOR THE YEAR 1972, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Kay Uniforms for furnishing the City of Paducah Police Department uniforms for the year 1972, said bid being dated March 18, 1972 and is in words and figures as follows: IN STOCK ITEMS FOR IMMEDIATE DELIVERY Ike Jackets $35.00 ea. Trousers, Fall & Winter 15.75 ea. Trousers, Summer 12.75 ea. TAILOR-MADE ITEMS (8 - 12 week delivery) Ike Jackets 42.50 ea. Uniform Coat Trousers, Fall & Winter Trousers, Summer 52.20 ea. 22.75 ea. 19.95 ea. Shirts, Winter, all ranks, Simpson Soulette Poplin 6.15 ea. Tropical 7.95 ea. Shirts, Summer, all ranks, Simpson Soulette Poplin 5.25 ea. Tropical 7.25 ea. Caps, Winter or Summer, all ranks, (except leather top) 7.25 ea. (Headmaster) If BLACK LEATHER TOP WANTED, add 50fi to above price Ties 1.SU ea. Misc. items as selected by individual officers. Said bid being in substantial compliance with the resolution authorizing bids dated February 29, 1972. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to enter into a contract for the purchase of items set out in Section 1 above at times and in quantities as needed for the period of one year from date of such contract. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on 960 file for -at least one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
