HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 17, Page 929, No Resolution Number929 A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A SCHEDULE OF AVERAGE PRICES OF COMPARABLE SALES HOUSING FOR THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, FOR THE RELOCATION OF DISPLACED PERSONS DUE TO FEDERAL GRANT-IN-AID PROGRAMS IN OPERATION IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Urban Development of the United States of America has prepared a Guideform Schedule of Average Prices of Comparable Sales Housing in Paducah, Kentucky, and WHEREAS, the City of Paducah is required to adopt the schedule for Project No. KY -E-2, Mechanicsburg Code Enforcement Program, and WHEREAS, after July 1, 1972, relocation payments will be shared between the Federal agencies and the local government of a basis of the approved schedule and amendments thereto approved by the federal authorities, and WHEREAS, the said schedule has been made a part of Relocation Handbook No. 1371.1, Chapter 6, and is known as Appendix 10, and consists of one page and covers units in sizes from two bedrooms or less through five bedrooms or more, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That Appendix 10 in Chapter 6 of Relocation Handbook No. 1371.1 as has been prepared by the Department of Housing and Urban Development of the United States of America and made applicable to the City of Paducah, Kentucky, Project No. KY -E-2, Mechanicsburg Code Enforcement Program, providing a Schedule of Average Prices of Comparable Sales Housing in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, be, and the same is hereby, approved and adopted for use in the City of Paducah, Kentucky. SECTION 2. The City of Paducah, Kentucky, further agrees to pay its proportionate share of any relocation costs required in the Mechanicsburg Code Enforcement Program, Project No. KY -E-2, from and after July 1, 1972. SECTION 3. That the Mayor and the Executive Director of the Mechanicsburg Code Enforcement Project be, and they are hereby, 930 authorized to acknowledge to the Department of Housing and Urban Development that the City of Paducah, Kentucky, has adopted the said schedule as is required by law. SECTION 4. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
