HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 17, Page 920, Ordinance Number 72-2-606920v ORDINANCE No. 72-2-606 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF TILFORD PLUMBING AND HEATING, INC, FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF SEWER EXTENSIONS AND A LIFT STATION TO BE CONSTRUCTED IN THE AREA OF KENNEDY AND LONE OAK ROADS, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH CONSTRUCTION BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid �) of Tilford Plumbing & Heating, Inc., in the base amount of $48,641.80, said bid being in compliance with the bid specifications and the advertisement for bids as was authorized by resolution passed by the Board of Commissioners on December 28, 1971, and as is contained in the bid of Tilford Plumbing & Heating, Inc. dated January 21, 1972. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with Tilford Plumbing & Heating, Inc. for the construction work as authorized in Section 1 above according to the contract specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. SECTION 3. An emergency is declared to exist, and this ordinance shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for at least one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
