FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF FOUR NEW 1972 FORD FOUR DOOR SEDABS FOR USE IN THE PADUCAH POLICE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Allan Rhodes, Inc. in the amount of $13,798.00, less 2,533.00 for trade-in of three 1970 Oldsmobiles and one 1968 Buick, for a net price of $11,265.00, for sale to the city of four new 1972 Ford four door sedan automobiles for use in the Paducah Police Department, said vehicles having the specifications set out in a resolution adopted December 14, 1972 by the Board of Commissioners of ,said City authorizing advertisement for bids for such equipment, and as contained in the bid of Allan Rhodes, Inc. dated December 31, 1971. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to enter into a contract for the purchase of said vehicles as set out in Section 1 hereof. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for at least one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten days thereafter.
