ORDINANCE NO. 72-1-598
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7-28 "ELECTRICAL CODE ADOPTED"
OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 7-28 "Electrical Code adopted", of the
Code of Ordinances City of Paducah, Kentucky, be amended and reordained
so that said section as amended and reordained shall hereafter read as
follows:
"Sec. 7-28. Electrical Code adopted. That the National Electrical
Code as prepared by National Fire Protection Association, and all
current supplements and revisions thereto, are hereby adopted by
reference and made a part of the public records of the City by this
section. Where stricter provisions within this Code of Ordinances are
in conflict with the said Electrical Code, conflict shall be resolved
in favor of the stricter provisions, and where more liberal require-
ments are set forth in this Code, conflict shall be resolved in
favor of the National Electrical Code."
SECTION 2. This ordinance amends Section 1 of an ordinance
adopted December 28, 1965 and which was last amended by Section 1
of Ordinance No. 69-11-259 adopted November 11, 1969.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
