HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 17, Page 904, Ordinance Number 71-12-59490/4 ORDINANCE NO. 71-12-594 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF GULF OIL COMPANY FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ITS REQUIREMENT OF REGULAR AND ETHYL GASOLINE, MOTOR OIL, DIESEL FUEL, CHASSIS LUBRICANT, GEAR LUBE OIL, HYDRAULIC OIL, KEROSENE AND ANTI -FREEZE TO BE USED BY THE CITY OF'PADUCAH FROM JANUARY 1, 1972 THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 1972, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH SAID COMPANY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Gulf Oil Company for furnishing the City of Paducah with its requirement of regular and ethyl gasoline, motor oil, diesel fuel, chassis lubricant, gear lube oil, hydraulic oil, kerosene and anti -freeze to be used by the City of Paducah from January 1, 1972 through December 31, 1972, which bid is in compliance with the terms, conditions and specifications as set out in the resolution adopted by the Board of Commissioners on November 23,1971 authorizing such bids. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to enter into a contract for the purchase of the merchandise as set out in Section 1 hereof and in accordance with the said bid and said Resolution. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remadn on file for public inspection for at least one week in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten days thereafter.
