ORDINANCE NO. 70-1-283
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED
"AN ORDINANCE CREATING A CIVIC BEAUTIFICATION BOARD FOR THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND PRESCRIBING THE MEMBERSHIP, TERMS OF
OFFICE AND DUTIES OF SAID BOARD", WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD
OF COMMISSIONERS ON JULY 5, 1960, AND LAST AMENDED ON JULY 25,
1961
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 1 of an ordinance having the title
quoted above, which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on
July 5, 1960, and last amended on july 25, 1961, be, and the same
is hereby further amended and reordained so that said section as
amended and reordained shall read as follows:
"SECTION 1. There is hereby created and established a
Civic Beautification Board for the City of Paducah, Kentucky,
consisting of thirty (30) members who shall be of legal age and
residents of McCracken County, Kentucky. The members shall be
appointed by the Mayor subject to the approval of the Board of
Commissioners of the City. The terms of all members shall be for
one (1) year, and all members shall serve without compensation."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
