HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 17, Page 891, Ordinance Number 71-12-590891 ORDINANCE NO. 71-12-590 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 26-1 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That Section 26-1 "Judge's salary" of the Code of Ordinances City of Paducah, Kentucky, be amended and reordained so that said section as amended and reordained shall read as follows: "Sec. 26-1. Judge's salary. The police judge of the City of Paducah will be paid a salary of seven thousand two hundred dollars ($7,200.00) per year, payable six hundred dollars ($600.00) per month effective from and after the 1st day of January, 1969, and said salary shall be paid to the duly elected police judge at the same time and in the same manner as the salaries of other officers and employees of the city are paid." SECTION 2. This ordinance amends an ordinance adopted on April 14, 1953 and was amended to read as stated in Section 1 above by Section 1 of Ordinance No. 69-1-164 adopted January 9, 1969. The ordinance was last amended by Section 1 of Ordinance No. 71-12-579 adopted December 14, 1971, and it is the intention of this ordinance to repeal said ordinance in its entirety as if it had never been adopted. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
