ORDINANCE NO. 71-12-583
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 25-1 (a) NUMBER, RANK AND SALARIES
OF MEMBERS OF DEPARTMENT, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 25-1(a) "Number, rank and salaries of
members of department", of the Code of Ordinances City of Paducah,
Kentucky, be amended and reordained so that said section as amended
and reordained shall read as follows:
"Sec. 25-1. Number, rank and salaries of members of department.
(a) The number and rank of members of the Police Department
of the City of Paducah and their monthly salaries, arovided said
salaries are not changed by any annual apportionment ordinance
hereafter adopted, shall be as follows:
Position Number of Positions Base Monthly Salary
Chief of Police 1 $883.33
First Assistant Chief of Police 1 780.00
Second Assistant Chief of Police 1 725.00
Chief of Detectives 1 735.00
Captain 8 670.00
Sergeants 14 620.00
Policemen 39 530.00 "
SECTION 2. Section 1 amends Section l of an ordinance originally
adopted August 5, 1952, and last amended by Ordinance No. 71-9-537
adopted September 28, 1971.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
