ORDINANCE NO. 71-12-580
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 29-24 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 29-24 "Compensation of members"
of the Code of Ordinances City of Paducah, Kentucky, as it relates
to the members of the board of equalization, be amended and reordained
so that said section as amended and reordained shall hereafter read
as follows:
"Sec. 29-24. Compensation of members.
Each member of the board of equalization shall be paid the
sum of Twenty Dollars ($20.00) per day while in the performance
of his duties."
SECTION 2. That Section 1 amends Section 3 of an ordinance
adopted October 19, 1957, and which was last amended by Section 1 of
Ordinance No. 69-10-257 which was adopted October 27, 1969.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption, and retroactive to December 1, 1971.
