HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 17, Page 871, Ordinance Number 71-12-579871 ORDINANCE NO. 71-12-579 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 26-1 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That Section 26-1 "Judge's Salary" of the Code of Ordinances City of Paducah, Kentucky, be amended and reordained so that said section as amended and reordained shall read as follows: "Sec. 26-1. Judge's salary. The police judge of the City of Paducah will be paid a salary of nine thousand six hundred dollars ($9,600.00) per year, payable eight hundred dollars ($800.00) per month effective from and after the 1st day of January, 1972, and said salary shall be paid to the duly elected police judge at the same time and in the same manner as the salaries of other officers and employees of the city are paid." SECTION 2. This ordinance amends an ordinance adopted on April 14, 1953 and last amended by Section 1 of Ordinance No. 69-1-164 adopted January 9, 1969. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect on and after January 1, 1972.
