HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 17, Page 867, Ordinance Number 71-12-577867 j ORDINANCE NO. 71-12-577 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY ON THE NORTH SIDE OF BLANDVILLE ROAD, EAST OF PECAN DRIVE, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE -1971 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning Commission on December 1, 1971, entitled "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY ON THE NORTH SIDE OF BLANDVILLE ROAD, EAST OF PECAN DRIVE", be adopted as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification change and the map amendment proposed in said resolution be, and the same are hereby declared to be in agreement with the comprehensive plan of the City of Paducah. SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-1 Low Density Residential Zone to B-1 Convenience and Service Zone: Beginning at a point in the center line of Blandville Road where said center line intersects the east property line of Joseph Kelley, if extended, same being the west property line of C. F. Boyles, if extended; thence in a northerly direction along and with the dividing line between Joseph Kelley and C. F. Boyles, same being the present city limit line, a distance of 668 feet to a point, the northeast corner of Joseph Kelley; thence in a westerly direction along and with Kelley's north line, same being the present city limit line, a distance of 588.8 feet to Kelley's northwest corner; thence in a southerly direction with Kelley's line, same being the present city limit line, a distance of 614.5 feet to the intersection of said line, if extended, with the center line of Blandville Road; thence in an easterly direction along and with the center line of Blandville Road a distance of 608.6 feet to the point of beginning. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each 868 and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
