ORDINANCE NO. 71-12-574
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTIONS 19-7, 19-8 AND 19-9 OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES CITY OF PADUCAH, IENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 19-7 "Prohibited Sunday sales -
Enumerated;" Section 19-8 "Same - Penalty" and Section 19-9
"Same Prosecution to be commenced within thirty days", of the
Code of Ordinances City of Paducah, Kentucky, be, and the same
are hereby, repealed.
SECTION 2. This ordinance repeals an ordinance entitled
"AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE SALE OR OFFER FOR SALE ON SUNDAY
OF CERTAIN TYPES OF MERCHANDISE TO BE UNLAWFUL; NAMING SUCH
PROSCRIBED TYPES OF MERCHANDISE, AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR
VIOLA TION THEREOF", which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners
on October 8, 1963.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
