ORDINANCE NO. 71-11-567
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ALLAN RHODES, INC. FOR SALE
TO THE CITY OF ONE NEW 1972 FORD TWO DOOR SEDAN FOR USE IN THE FLOODWALL
DEPARTMENT, AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS UPON .WHICH SUCH
PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Allan Rhodes,
Inc. in the amount of $2,500.00, less $350.00 for the trade-in of a 1966
Chevy II Automobile for a net price of $2,150.00 for the sale to the City
of one (1) new 1972 Ford Torino 2 door automobile for use in the Flood -
wall Department of the City, said vehicle having the specifications
set out in the resolution adopted October 12, 1971 by the Board of
Commissioners of said City authorizing advertisement for bids for such
equipment, and as contained in the bid of Allan Rhodes, Inc. dated
October 28, 1971.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to enter into a contract for said vehicle as set out in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. -This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for public inspection for at least one (1) week in the completed form
in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall
be in full force and effect ten days thereafter.
