HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 17, Page 821, Ordinance Number 71-11-555821 ORDINANCE NO. 71-11-555 AN ORDINANCE CLOSING CERTAIN STREETS AND ALLEYS SITUATED BETWEEN GILSON STREET AND YEISER STREET BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, does hereby authorize the closing of certain streets and alleys situated between Gilson Street and Yeiser Street, described as follows: 1. All that portion of Main Street extending from the north line of Gilson Street to the south line of Yeiser Street. 2. All that portion of Rock Street extending from the north line of Gilson Street to the south line of Yeiser Street. 3. All the alleys in Block 11 of Thurman, Herzog, Hughes and Bethel Addition, said block being bounded by Gilson Street, Main Street, Yeiser Street and Leiberman Street. 4. The alley in Block 8 of Gilson, Rock and Tully Addition, said block being bounded by Gilson Street, Tully Street, Yeiser Street and Rock Street. 5. The alley in Block 9 of Gilson, Rock and Tully Addition, said block being bounded by Gilson Street, Rock Street, Yeiser Street and Locust Drive. SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be, and he is hereby, authorized, empowered and directed to institute and prosecute, pursuant to KRS 94.360, an action in the McCracken Circuit Court for a judgment ordering the closing of the streets and alleys described in Section 1 hereof. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
