ORDINANCE NO. 71-11-554
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 71-6-477 ENTITLED
"AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE EMPLOYMENT OF SCHUETTE & TAYLOR,
.CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS, TO MAKE AN AUDIT OF THE ACCOUNTS OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH AND ALL CITY OFFICERS FOR THE YEAR 1971, IN CONSIDERATION
OF THE PAYMENT TO THEM OF THE SUM OF $5,000.00
WHEREAS, on June 1, 1971, the Board of Commissioners passed the
numbered and titled ordinance set out above, and
WHEREAS, Schuette & Taylor, Certified Public Accountants, has
mutually agreed with the City to cancel and terminate said employment
agreement for the 1971 audit in favor of permitting said audit to be
conducted by Carney G. Allen, a former partner in the accounting firm
of Schuette & Taylor,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Ordinance bearing the number and title quoted
above, be, and the same is hereby, repealed.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
