HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 17, Page 818, Ordinance Number 71-11-553818 ORDINANCE NO. 71-11-553 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF HUSBANDS STREET BETWEEN 4TH AND 5TH STREETS, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE -1971 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning Commission on November 3, 1971, entitled "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF HUSBANDS STREET BETWEEN 4TH AND 5TH STREETS", be adopted as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification change and the map amendment proposed in said resolution be, and the same are hereby declared to be in agreement with the comprehensive plan of the City of Paducah. SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following property be, and it is hereby, changed from C-1 Conservancy Zone to M-1 Light Industry Zone: Beginning at the point of intersection of the center line of South 5th Street with the center line of Husbands Street; thence along and with the center line of South 5th Street in a southerly direction a distance of 466.67 feet to the point of intersection of the center line of South 5th Street with the south property line of Loren Jones, if extended; thence in an easterly direction along and with the south property line of Loren Jones, as extended, a distance of 205 feet to a point in the southwest line of T. G. Wynn, same being the northeast corner of Inola Hudson Slate; thence in a northerly direction with the southwest line of T. G. Wynn a distance of 23 feet to a point, the northwest corner of T. G. Wynn; thence in an easterly direction and with the dividing line of T. G. Wynn and Loren Jones a distance of 206.25 feet to the center line of South 4th Street; thence in a northerly direction and with the center line of South 4th Street a distance of 242 feet to the point of intersection of the center line of South 4th Street with the dividing line between Loren Jones and the property of the City of Paducah, if extended; thence in a southwesterly direction with said dividing line a distance of 153 feet to a point, the southwest corner of the City of Paducah property; thence in a northwesterly direction along and with the dividing line between Loren Jones and the City of Paducah a distance of 90 feet to a point in the south line of T. G. Wynn; thence in a southwesterly direction with the south line of T. G. Wynn 53.25 feet to a point, the southwest corner of T. G. Wynn; thence at right angles and with the T. G. Wynn line a distance of 108.67 feet to the center line Of Husbands Street; thence in a southwesterly direction along and with the center line of Husbands Street a distance of 203.25 feet to the point of beginning. 819 SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
