GOODRICH STORE FOR FURNISHING THE CITY OF PADUCAH WITH ITS REQUIREMENT OF NEW AUTOMOBILE AND TRUCK TIRES FOR THE PERIOD OF TIME FROM SEPTEMBER 1, 1971 TO AUGUST 31, 1972, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY TO EXIST BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of B. F. Goodrich Store for furnishing the City: of Paducah with its requirement of new automobile and -truck tires for the period of time from September 1, 1971 to August 31, 1972, said bid being in compliance with the specifications set out in the resolution dated September 14, 1971, adopted by the Board of Commissioners authorizing bids, and as con- tained in the bid.of B. F. Goodrich Store dated September 24, 1971, which bid was received and filed with the minutes of the meeting of. October 12, 1971. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with B. F. Goodrich Store for the purchase of the material as set out in Section 1 above according to said resolution and said bid. SECTION 3. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for at least one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage and if adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
