HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 17, Page 770, Ordinance Number 71-10-548770 j ORDINANCE NO. 71-10-548 AN ORDINANCE CLOSING A PORTION OF 29TH STREET LYING WEST OF MISSISSIPPI STREET AND EXTENDING IN A WESTERLY DIRECTION A DISTANCE OF 150 FEET, IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, IENTUCKY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, does hereby authorize the closing of a portion of 29th Street in said city, described as follows: A strip of ground, known as 29th Street, 50 feet in width extending from the west property line of Mississippi Street in a westerly direction 150 feet. SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be, and he is hereby, authorized and empowered to institute pursuant to Section 94.360 of the Kentucky Revised Statutes, an action in the McCracken Circuit Court for a judgment ordering the closing of the street described in Section 1 hereof. SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
