BUMGARNER AND WIFE, MARY BUMGARNER, TO PURCHASE THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH IN ONE LOT ON CENTER STREET FOR THE SUM OF $120.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the offer of E. W. Bumgarner and wife, Mary Bumgarner, in the amount of $120.00 to purchase the interest of the City of Paducah in the following described land in said city, be accepted, said land being described as follows: Lot No. 19 in Block No. 4 in O'Bryan's Addition, said lot being on the north side of Center Street and as shown on page 54 of Block Map Book No. 4 in the office of the City Engineer. See Deed Book 91, page 151 in the McCracken County Court Clerk's office. Being the same land (M. E. Pierce property) conveyed to the City of Paducah by Ben C. LeRoy, City Treasurer, by deed dated September 20, 1971, and of record in Deed Book 533, page 33, McCracken County Court Clerk's office. SECTION 2. Upon the payment of the sum of $120.00 to the City Treasurer, the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to convey to E. W. Bumgarner and wife, Mary Bumgarner, all of the right, title and interest of the City in the property described in Section 1 hereof, and said deed of conveyance shall be quitclaim only, shall contain no warranty as to title, shall be subject to any state of facts that might be shown by an accurate survey, and shall be subject to 1971 City of Paducah taxes which are to be paid by the purchasers. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
