FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF THE CITY'S REQUIREMENT OF LIMESTONE FOR THE YEAR 1970, AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SUCH PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE BE IT ORDAINED BY'THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid of Reed Crushed Stone Company, Inc. in the sum of $1.70 per ton for the sale to the city of approximately 8,000 tons of various grades of ' crushed limestone'for use by the City during the year 1970, such bid having substantially the specifications set'out in the resolution adopted by the Board of Commissioners on February 10, 1970, authorizing advertisement for bids for such limestone, and contained in the bid of Reed Crushed Stone Company, Inc. dated March 2, 1970. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to enter into a contract for said limestone requirements as set out in Section 1 hereof. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
