HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 17, Page 755, Ordinance Number 71-9-540755 L� ORDINANCE NO. 71-9-540 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ACCEPT A LEASE FROM ALUMA-KRAFT SALES AND MANUFACTURING COMPANY, INC., TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, FOR FIELD OFFICE SPACE FOR THE MECHANICSBURG CONCENTRATED CODE ENFORCEMENT PROGRAM BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to accept a lease from Aluma-Kraft Sales and Manufacturing Company, Inc. to the City of Paducah, Kentucky, for office space for the Mechanicsburg Concentrated Code Enforcement Program, Project No. Ky. E-2, said lease being for a space of 30 feet by 60 feet and known as 2501 Powell Street and being situated in the northeast portion of a building known as 316 Locust Drive, said lease being for a term of three years or during the existence of the said project, whichever is less, at a monthly rental of $200.00, and said lease to be prepared and approved by the Corporation Counsel of the City of Paducah. SECTION 2. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for at least one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
