AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING PAYMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $7,523.39
TO BRANDEIS MACHINERY AND SUPPLY CORPORATION FOR THE REPAIR OF ONE
GALION MODEL 303 ROAD GRADER FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah road grader, one Galion Model 303,
became inoperable, unsafe, and was in need of immediate repair, and
WHEREAS, the Brandeis Machinery and Supply Corporation located
in Paducah, Kentucky, is the authorized representative for parts and
services for Galion equipment, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works obtained a quotation
from the said Corporation and requested immediate service to effect
the needed repairs, and
WHEREAS, the equipment has been completely repaired at a cost
of $7,523.39,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF
THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City Treasurer be, and he is hereby,
authorized to pay to Brandeis Machinery and Supply Corporation the.sum
of $7,523.39 for the labor and material used to repair the Model 303
Galion road grader belonging to the Public Works Department of the City
of Paducah, Kentucky.
SECTION 2. That Account No. 3409, "Machinery Parts, Streets and
Sewers" be charged with the cost of said repairs.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on
file for public inspection for at least one week in the completed form
in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted
shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
