ORDINANCE NO. 70-3-302 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF EMULSIFIED ASPHALT COMPANY FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF THE CITY'S REQUIREMENT OF ASPHALT (EITHER LIQUID OR EMULSIFIED) FOR THE YEAR 1970, AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS.AND CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SUCH PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid of Emulsified Asphalt' Company for the sale to the City of its 1970 re- quirements of liquid or emulsified asphalt in the approximate amount of 44,000 gallons, said bid price being $0.1250 with discount of 1% if paid in ten (10) days from delivery, for emulsified asphalt RS -2, said bid further having substantially the specifications as set out in the resolution adopted on February 10, 1970 by the Board of Commissioners of the City authorizing advertisement for bids for such liquid or emulsified asphalt, and contained in the bid of Emulsified Asphalt Company dated March 2, 1970. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to enter into a contract for the purchase of asphalt as set out in Section 1 hereof. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
