HAMOCK TO PURCHASE THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH IN A LOT ON SOUTH SEVENTH STREET IN SAID CITY FOR THE SUM OF $400.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the offer of Mrs. Velma G. Hamock in the amount of $400.00 to purchase the interest of the City of Paducah in the following described land in said City be accepted, said land being described as follows: Being a part of Block 25, Addition 'C" and beginning 173 feet 3 inches from the southwest corner of 7th and Clark Streets; thence with the west line of 7th Street and toward Adams Street 35 feet; thence at right angles and toward 8th Street 165 feet to an alley; thence at right angles and toward Clark Street 35 feet; thence at right angles 165 feet to the point of beginning. Being the same land (Susie K. Johnson property) conveyed to the City of Paducah by Ben C. LeRoy, Treasurer, by deed dated February 2, 1970, and of record in Deed Book 516, page 73 in the McCracken County Court Clerk's office. SECTION 2. Upon the payment of the sum of $400.00 to the City Treasurer, the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to convey to Mrs. Velma G. Hamock all of the right, title and interest of the City in the property described in Section 1 hereof, and said deed of conveyance shall be quitclaim only, shall contain no warranty as to title and shall be subject to any state of facts that might,be shown by an accurate survey. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
