ORDINANCE NO. 70-3-301
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ALLAN RHODES, INC. FOR THE SALE
TO THE CITY OF ONE HEAVY DUTY CAB AND CHASSIS WITH DUMPSTER HOIST UNIT
FOR USE BY THE REFUSE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Allan Rhodes,
Inc. in the net amount of $16,950.00 for sale to the City of one (1)
heavy duty cab and chassis with dumpster hoist unit for use by the
Refuse Department, said bid having the specifications as set out in
the resolution adopted by the Board of Commissioners on January 27,
1970, authorizing bids and as contained in the bid of Allan Thodes, Inc.
dated March 6, 1970.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute a contract with Allan Rhodes, Inc. for the purchase.of the
property as set out in Section 1 above according to the said resolution
and said bid.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form
in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall
be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
