HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 17, Page 738, Ordinance Number 71-8-528738 ORDINANCE NO. 71-8-528 AN ORDINANCE CLOSING A PORTION OF AN ALLEY IN THE BLOCK BOUNDED BY WASHINGTON STREET, CLARK STREET, 9TH STREET AND MURRELL BOULEVARD BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION I. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky does hereby authorize the closing of a certain portion of an alley in the block bounded by Washington Street, Clark Street, 9th Street and Murrell Boulevard, which portion of said alley is more particularly described as follows: A portion of a ten foot public alley lying between and parallel with Washington Street and Clark Street and running back from 9th Street toward Murrell Boulevard a distance of 165.45 feet. SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of Paducah be, and he is hereby, authorized and empowered to institute and prosecute, pursuant to KRS 94.360, an action in the McCracken Circuit Court for a judgment ordering the closing of the alley described in Section 1 hereof. SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
