GAY AND WIFE, HAZEL GAY, TO PURCHASE THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH IN TWO LOTS ON NORTHVIEW (TERRELL) STREET FOR THE SUM OF $110.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the offer of L. J. Gay and wife, Hazel Gay, in the amount of $110.00 to purchase the interest of the City of Paducah in the following described land in said city be accepted, said land being described as follows: Lot 10, Block 77 of Harris, Flournoy, Trimble and Norton Addition, fronting 25 feet on the west side of Northview (Terrell) Street and as shown on page 9 of Block Map Book No. 3 in the office of the City Engineer. See Deed Book 282, page 298. Being the same land (Myrtle Babb property) conveyed to the City of Paducah by Ben C. LeRoy, City Treasurer, by deed dated July 28, 1971 and of record in Deed Book 531, page 119 in the McCracken County Court Clerk's office. Parts of Lots 1 and 2, Block 69 of Harris, Flournoy, Trimble and Norton Addition, fronting 50 feet on the East side of Northview (Terrell) Street 105 feet north of Eighth Street, and as shown on page 24 of Block Map Book No. 3 in the office of the City Engineer. Being the same land (Dorthay Ann Cobb property) conveyed to the City of Paducah by Ben C. LeRoy, City Treasurer, by deed dated July 28, 1971 and of record in Deed Book 531, page 123 in the McCracken County Court Clerk's Office. SECTION 2. Upon the payment of the sum of $110.00 to the City Treasurer, the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to convey to L. J. Gay and wife, Hazel Gay, all the right, title and interest of the City in the property described in Section 1 hereof, and said deed of conveyance shall be quitclaim only, shall contain no warranty as to title, shall be subject to any state of facts that might be shown by an accurate survey, and shall be subject to 1971 City of Paducah taxes which are to be paid by the purchasers. 728 SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.. Mayor Protem H. E.
