ORDINANCE NO. 70-2-299
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ALLAN RHODES, INC. FOR SALE
TO THE CITY OF FOUR (4) NEW 1970 FORD F600 TRUCKS FOR USE IN THE
STREET DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO
A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Allan
Rhodes, Inc. in the sum of $18,594.48 for the sale to the City of
four (4) new 1970 Ford F600 trucks, such trucks having the
specifications as set out in the resolution authorizing and
requesting bids dated February 10, 1970, and as contained in the
bid of Allan Rhodes, Inc. dated February 23, 1970.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to enter into a contract for the purchase of said trucks as requested
in the said resolution and set out in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form
in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall
be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
