ORDINANCE No. 71-7-507
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF BOBBY BUTLER CONCRETE
CONTRACTOR, FOR MAINTENANCE AND CONSTRUCTION OF CONCRETE SIDEWALKS,
DRIVEWAYS, CURBS AND GUTTERS IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH WORK
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the bid of Bobby Butler, Concrete Contractor,
for maintenance and construction of concrete sidewalks, driveways,
curbs and gutters in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be accepted,
said bid being in words and figures as follows:
Item No. 1 - Concrete sidewalk per sq. ft.
25 IF or more $1.75 per SF
Less than 25 IF 3.00 per SF
Item No. 2 - Concrete driveway per sg. ft.
25 IF or more 2.50 per SF
Less than 25 LF 3.00 per SF
Item No. 3 - Concrete curb & gutter per lin. ft.
25 IF or more 6.00 per LF
Less than 25 IF 10.00 per LF
Said bid being in compliance with the resolution authorizing said
bids, which was passed by the Board of Commissioners on June 8, 1971.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
and directed to execute a contract with Bobby Butler Concrete Contractor
for the services specified in Section 1 above, and as contained in said
resolution and said bid.
SECTION 3. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance
shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for one week for
public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon
its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect
immediately thereafter. %
