ORDINANCE NO. 70-3-298
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 2 AND 6 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED
"AN ORDINANCE CREATING AND ESTABLISHING THE NON -CIVIL SERVICE POSITION
OF PRISONER DETAIL SUPERVISOR, PRESCRIBING THE DUTIES OF SAID
POSITION AND FIXING THE RATE OF PAY THEREFOR", WHICH WAS ADOPTED
BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS ON AUGUST 13, 1968
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah,
Kentucky;
SECTION 1. That Sections 2 and 6 of an ordinance having the
title quoted above, which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners
on August 13, 1968, be, and the same are hereby amended and reordained
so that said sections as amended and reordained shall read as follows:
"SECTION 2. Each person holding the position of prisoner detail
supervisor shall be under the supervision and direction of the Chief of
the Paducah Police Department, and the time worked shall be accounted
for on the payroll of the Police Department.
"SECTION 6. Any person occupying the position of non -civil
service prisoner detail supervisor shall be paid at the rate of $2.50
per hour."
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
