FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE (1)1,250 GALLON PER MINUTE PUMPING ENGINE WITH DIESEL ENGINE AND CAB FORWARD OVER ENGINE CHASSIS FOR USE IN THE PADUCAH FIRE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Midwest Fire and Safety Equipment Company, Inc. for sale to the City of one (1) new Midwest Triple Combination Fire Fighting Apparatus, Model P-80-1250 with custom chassis and diesel engine for use in the Paducah Fire Department, said bid being in the net amount of $42,788.00 f.o.b. Paducah, Kentucky, and said bid having the specifications as set out in the resolution dated March 26, 1971, adopted by the Board of Commissioners authorizing bids, and as contained in the bid of Midwest Fire and Safety Equipment Company, Inc. dated April 23, 1971. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with Midwest Fire and Safety Equipment Company, Inc. for the purchase of the property set out in Section 1 above according to said resolution and said bid. SECTION 3.
