FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE NEW 1971 THREE-QUARTER TON PICKUP TRUCK FOR USE IN THE MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Allan Rhodes, Inc. for sale to the City of one new 1971 Ford F250 C&C three- quarter ton pick-up truck for use in the Maintenance Department of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, said bid being in the amount of $3,000.00, less $105.00 for trade-in of a 1956 International truck, for a total net purchase price of $2,895.00, and said bid having the specifications as set out in the resolution authorizing such bids, which was passed by the Board of Commissioners on May 25, 1971, and as contained in the bid of Allan Rhodes, Inc. dated June 10, 1971. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be authorized to execute a contract for the purchase of the property described in Section 1 above, and according to the raid resolution and said bid. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for at least one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten days thereafter.
