ORDINANCE NO. 71-7-497
AN ORDI:MANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY TREASURER TO PAY LESTER H.
BRENNER & ASSOCIATES THE SUM OF $7,303.07 FOR REPAIR OF THE PADUCAH
FIRE DEPARTMENT AERIAL LADDER TRUCK
WHEREAS, the Paducah Fire Department Aerial -Ladder Truck was
damaged when struck by a motor vehicle at 10th & Kentucky Avenue on
January 14, 1971, and
WHEREAS, immediate professional repair was necessary, and
WHEREAS, the Lester H. Brenner & Associates firm of Memphis,
Tennessee was the sales representative of Peter Pirsch & Sons Company',
manufacturer of the aerial ladder truck, and was the closest service
representative for said equipment, -and
WHEREAS, the said aerial ladder truck was shipped to Lester H.
Brenner & Associates for repair,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, IENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City Treasurer be, and he is hereby, authorized
to pay the 'sum of $7,303.07 to Lester H. Brenner & Associates of
Memphis, Tennessee, for repair of the wrecked aerial ladder truck of
the Paducah Fire Department.
SECTION 2. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance
shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for at least one (1)
week in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final
passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately
thereafter.
