HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 17, Page 685, Ordinance Number 71-7-4950 685 ORDINANCE NO. 71-7-495 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WILSON CHEVROLET-CADILLAC FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE (1) NEW 1971 FOUR DOOR SEDAN AUTOMOBILE FOR USE IN THE INSPECTION DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac in the amount of $2,563.84 for sale to the City of one (1) new 1971 four door sedan automobile for use in the Inspection Department, which price includes an allowance for the trade-in of a 1965 Ford four door sedan, and which bid complies with the specifications as set out in a resolution adopted by the Board of Commissioners on May 25, 1971 authorizing such bids, and as contained in the bid of Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac dated June 4, 1971. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac for purchase of the equipment as set out in Section 1 above according to the resolution and said bid'. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for at least one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten days thereafter.
