ORDINANCE NO. 71-7-494
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WILSON CHEVROLET-CADILLAC,
INC. FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE NEW 1971 CHEVROLET NOVA 2 DOOR VEHICLE
FOR USE BY THE INSPECTION DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY.THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Wilson
Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc. for sale to the City.of one (1) new 1971
Chevrolet Nove a door automobile for the cash price of $2,210.74,
less an allowance for a trade-in of a 1966 Chevrolet 2 door automobile
for $400.00, for the net purchase price of $1,810.74, said bid meeting
the specifications as set out in the resolution authorizing such bids
which was passed by the Board of Commissioners on May 25, 1971, and
as contained in the bid of Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc. dated June 4,
1971.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute a contract with Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc. for the
purchase of the equipment as set out in Section 1 above, and according
to the said resolution and said bid.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for at least one week for public inspection in the completed form in
which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in
full force and effect ten days thereafter.
