HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 17, Page 675, Ordinance Number 71-6-491675 1 ORDINANCE NO. 71-6-491 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF JEAN G. CRAWFORD AND WIFE, BETTYE E. CRAWFORD, TO PURCHASE THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH IN A LOT ON NORTH 10TH STREET FOR THE SUM OF $330.41; and AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the offer of Jean G. Crawford and wife, Bettye E. Crawford, in the amount of $330.41 to purchase the interest of the City of Paducah in the following described property in said city, be accepted, said property being described as follows: Fronting 60 feet on the east line of 10th Street extending back for depth 50 feet among an alley, being 100 feet north of Harrison Street, and as shown on page 31 of Block Map Book No. 2 in the office of the City Engineer. See Deed Book 365 page 487 in the McCracken County Court Clerk's office. Being the same property (Joe Reagan) conveyed to the City of Paducah by Ben C. LeRoy, Treasurer, by deed dated June 9, 1971 and of record in Deed Book 529, page 399 in said Clerk's office. SECTION 2. Upon the payment of $330.41 to the City Treasurer, the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to convey to Jean G. Crawford and wife, Bettye E. Crawford, all the right, title and interest of the City in the property described in Section 1 hereof, and said deed of conveyance shall be quitclaim only, shall contain no warranty as to title, and shall be subject to any state of facts that might be shown by an a'ccurate survey.
