ORDINANCE NO. 71-6-486
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ALLAN RHODES, INC. FOR SALE
TO THE CITY OF ONE NEW 1971 FOUR -DOOR SEDAN AUTOMOBILE FOR USE BY
THE CITY MANAGER AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Allan
Rhodes, Inc. for sale to the City of one new 1971 4 -door sedan auto-
mobile for use by the City Manager of the City of Paducah, said bid
being in the net amount of $2,996.78 including an allowance for the
trade-in of a 1965 Ford now used by the Director of Public Works,
and said bid having the specifications as set out in the Resolution
dated May 11, 1971, and as contained in the bid of Allan Rhodes, Inc.
dated May 26, 1971.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authori-
zed to execute a contract with Allan Rhodes, Inc. for the purchase
of the property set out in Section 1 above according to said Resolution
and said bid.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for at least one week for public inspection in the completed form in
which it shall be put upon its final passage and if adopted shall be in
full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
