ORDINANCE NO. 71-6-485
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ALLAN RHODES, INC. FOR SALE TO
THE CITY OF TWO NEW 2 -TON DUMP TRUCKS WITH CAB AND CHASSIS FOR USE IN
THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Allan
Rhodes, Inc. for sale to the City of two (2) new 2 -Ton Dump Trucks
with cab and chassis for use in the Public Works Department, said
bid being in the net amount of $10,150.00, and said bid having the
specifications as set out in a Resolution dated May 11, 1971 adopted
by the Board of Commissioners authorizing bids, and as contained in
the bid of Allan Rhodes, Inc., dated May 26, 1971.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be and he is hereby, authori-
zed to execute a contract with Allan Rhodes, Inc. for the purchase
of the property set out in Section 1 above according to the Resolution
and said bid.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for at least one week for public inspection in its completed form in
which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be
in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
