FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF TWO (2) 1971 ONE-HALF TON PICK-UP TRUCKS FOR USE IN THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT, AND ONE (1) NEW ONE-HALF TON PICK-UP TRUCK FOR USE IN THE CEMETERY DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc. for the sale to the City of two (2) new one-half ton pick-up trucks for use in the Public Works Department, and one (1) new one-half ton pick-up truck for use in the Cemetery Department of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, said bid being in the net amount of $7,493.46, and said bid having the specifications as set out in a resolution dated May 11, 1971 adopted by the Board of Commissioners authorizing bids, and as contained in the bid of Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc. dated May 27, 1971. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc. for the purchase of the property set out in Section 1 above according to said resolution and said bid. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for at least one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
