HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 17, Page 625, Ordinance Number 71-6-479625 ORDINANCE NO. 71-6-479 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH SCHUETTE-SCHIMPELER ASSOCIATES, INC. FOR THE PREPARATION OF AN APPLICATION FOR A TRANSIT SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT STUDY FOR PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SUCH CONTRACT SHALL BE MADE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with Schuette-Schimpler & Associates, Inc. for the development and preparation of an application for a transit systems development study for Paducah, Kentucky, to be submitted to the Urban Mass Transportation Administration, Department of Transportation, Washington, D. C., said contract to be for the total sum of $1,500.00. The application shall be prepared and ready for submission within 120 days from the date of said contract. SECTION 2. An emergency is declared to exist, and this ordinance shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
