ORDINANCE NO. 71-6-474
AN ORDINANCE CLOSING A PORTION OF AN ALLEY IN THE BLOCK
BOUNDED BY 14TH STREET, REED AVENUE, 13TH STREET AND RUDY AVENUE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky does hereby
authorize the closing of a certain portion of an alley in the
block bounded by 14th Street, Reed Avenue, 13th Street and Rudy
Avenue, which portion of said alley is more particularly described
as follows:
Beginning at a point 92 feet from the north east
corner of 14th Street and Reed Avenue; thence at
right angles and parallel with 14th Street 165.5
feet to a line of a 15 foot alley; thence at right
angles in a northerly direction toward 13th Street
8 feet; thence at right angles and parallel with
14th Street 165.5 feet to the east property line
of Reed Avenue; thence at right angles south and
parallel with Reed Avenue 8 feet to the point of
beginning.
SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of
Paducah be, and he is hereby, authorized and empowered to institute
and prosecute pursuant to ERS 94.360, an action in the McCracken
Circuit Court for a judgment ordering the closing of the alley des-
cribed in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3., This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
