ORDINANCE NO. 71-5-471
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 19-53 PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS, OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 19-53 Public Drunkenness of the
Code of Ordinances City of Paducah, Kentucky, be amended and re -
ordained so that said section as amended and reordained shall hereafter
read as follows:
"SEC. 19-53. Public Drunkenness.
Any person found in a public place under the influence of
intoxicating liquor or any drugs in such condition as to be unable
to exercise care for his own safety or for the safety of others
shall be guilty of a misdemeanor."
SECTION 2. Section 1 of this ordinance amends Section 1 of
an ordinance relating to disorderly conduct, which was adopted
December 12, 1967.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption and publication.
