A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION
TO THE ADMINISTRATOR FOR METROPOLITAN PLANNING DEVELOPMENT, DEPARTMENT
OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT, ATLANTA, GEORGIA, FOR AN URBAN
SYSTEMS ENGINEERING DEMONSTRCTION PROJECT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized
to submit an application dated November, 1970, to the Administrator
for Metropolitan Planning Development, Department of Housing and
Urban Development, Atlanta, Georgia, for an Urban Systems Wngineering
Demonstration Project for a total estimated cost of $160,000.00
of which three-fourths would be funded by Federal grant and one-
fourth would be funded by local contribution.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to make all assurances
necessary for complete compliance by the City of Paducah with the laws
of the United States of America as pertain to the use of federal funds
in Urban Systems Engineering Demonstration Projects.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
