HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 17, Page 570, Ordinance Number 71-5-460570 i ORDINANCE NO. 71-5-460 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF GERALD WILLIAMS TO PURCHASE THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH IN LOTS 14, 15 AND 16 IN BLOCK 2 OF THE QUARLES ADDITION FOR:THE SUM OF $400.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: That the offer of Gerald Williams in the amount of $400.00 to purchase the interest of the City of Paducah in the following described land in said city, be accepted, said land being described Being Lots 14, 15 and 16 in Block 2 of Quarles Addition, a plat of same being of record in Plat Book "A", page 107 in the McCracken County Court Clerk's office, and situated at the south- west corner of Fir Street and Garfield Avenue, and being a part of the property conveyed to the City of Paducah by deed dated March 9, 1942 and of record in Commissioner's Deed Book 11, page 137 in said Clerk's office. Upon the payment of the sum of $400.00 to the City Treasurer, the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to convey to Gerald Williams all of the right, title and interest of the City in the property described in Section 1 hereof, and said deed of conveyance shall be quitclaim only, shall contain no warranty as to title, and shall be subject to any state of facts that might be shown by an accurate survey.
