ORDINANCE NO. 2001-8 99
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT FOR SERVICES BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH AND THE
PADUCAH AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
WHEREAS, the Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization
charged with the commercial and business development of Paducah and McCracken
r
County, providing a direct benefit for the citizens of the City of Paducah; and
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah desires to contract with the Chamber for
its services in promoting commercial and business development in the Paducah area.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract in
the amount of $12,500.00 between the City of Paducah and the Paducah Area Chamber
for the Chamber's services in promoting commercial and business development in the
Paducah area.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
