HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 17, Page 504, Ordinance Number 71-4-449504 / v ORDINANCE NO. 71-4-449 AN ORDINANCE CLOSING A PORTION OF LIZZIE STREET; A 16 FOOT ALLEY IN BLOCK 14 OF GILSON, ROCK AND TULLY ADDITION, AND TWO (2) ALLEYS IN BLOCK 12 OF THURMAN, HUGHES, HERZOG AND BETHEL ADDITION BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, does hereby authorize the closing of a certain portion of Lizzie Street; the 16 foot alley in Block 14 of Gilson, Rock and Tully Addition, and two (2) alleys in Block 12 of Thurman, Hughes, Herzog and Bethel Addition, all of which are described as follows: I. All that portion of Lizzie Street extending from the north line of Gilson Street to the south line of Yeiser Street. 2. The 16 foot alley in Block 14 of Gilson, Rock and Tully Addition extending from the north line of Gilson Street to the south line of Yeiser Street and being parallel to Lizzie Street. 3. The 15 foot alley in Block 12 of Thurman, Hughes, Herzog and Bethel Addition extending from the north line of Gilson Street to the south line of a 16 foot alley in said block and being parallel to Main Street. 4. The 16 foot alley in Block 12 of Thurman, Hughes, Herzog and Bethel Addition extending from the west line of Bethel Street to the east line of Main Street and being parallel to Yeiser Street. SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of Paducah be, and he is hereby, authorized and empowered to institute and prosecute, pursuant to ERS 94.360, an action in the McCracken Circuit Court for a judgment ordering the closing of the street and alleys described in Section 1 hereof. SECTION 3.
