FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF SEVEN NEW 1970 OLDSMOBILE DELTA 88 TOWN SEDANS FOR USE IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS UPON WHICH PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION I. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Baker Oldsmobile, Inc. in the amount of $21,232.61, less $4,900.00 for trace - in of seven (7) police cars, making a net total of $16,332.61 for the sale to the City of seven (7) new 1970 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Town Sedans, Model 5469, having the specifications set out in the resolution adopted January 27, 1970 by the Board of Commissioners of said city, authorizing advertisement for bids for such equipment and contained in the bid of Baker Oldsmobile, Inc. dated February 7, 1970. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to enter into a contract for said vehicles as set out in Section 1 hereof. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for public inspection for at least one (1) week in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
